Claim your creator profile

3 min readEditorial

If there is a profile here for one of your accounts, you can claim it. Claiming is free, takes a few minutes, and does not require you to send us any identity documents.

This page is also the honest version of what claiming does not do, because that matters more than the feature list.

How verification works

You place a short code in the public bio of the account you are claiming. We check that the code is there, then mark the profile as claimed and remove the code requirement.

This proves control of the account, which is the only thing we actually need to establish. It deliberately avoids asking for identity documents — we do not want to hold them, and you should be wary of any platform in this industry that asks.

  • Start a claim and receive a unique code.
  • Add the code anywhere in the public bio of the account.
  • Confirm, and we verify. The code can come back out once verified.
  • Codes expire after 14 days, and you can request a new one at any time.

What claiming gives you

  • A public right of reply to every review of your account, displayed at the same visual weight as the review itself.
  • Control of your profile copy, links and images — you decide what appears.
  • The ability to flag reviews that break policy, which opens an evidence process.
  • A verified badge, which materially affects how readers weigh what they see.

What claiming does not give you

Claiming does not give you editorial control over reviews of your account. You cannot delete a review because it is unflattering, and there is no arrangement, payment or package that changes this. The removal reasons are a fixed list, none of which is "the subject requested it".

  • You cannot remove a negative review that is accurate.
  • You cannot pay for removal, for a higher rating, or for placement. None of these exist as products.
  • You cannot see who wrote a review. Reviewers are pseudonymous to you, though not to us.

Getting a review removed — the real process

Flag it and say what is wrong with it. If your objection is factual — the described transaction did not happen, or happened differently — we ask the reviewer for evidence.

If they cannot produce it within the window, the review comes down as unproven. If they can, it stays, and your reply is published alongside it. Either way the decision and its reason go into the public moderation log.

Removing your profile entirely

You can request erasure of your whole profile under GDPR Article 17, and we honour it. That removes the profile and everything under it.

We are direct about the trade-off: this is not a way to remove a few inconvenient reviews while keeping favourable ones. Erasure removes the profile as a whole, including the reviews that were good for you and your published replies.

Requests go through the takedown form and are answered with a written decision.

Frequently asked

Do I have to be listed here?
No. A directory profile carries only the public facts you advertise yourself, and you can have it removed within 48 hours through the takedown form — no reason required. Claiming is what turns it into a page you control.
Does claiming cost anything?
No. Claiming, replying and flagging are free and always will be. Charging for any of them would compromise the thing that makes the ratings worth reading.
Can my agency claim on my behalf?
Yes, if they control the account bio they can complete verification. We would ask that messaging handled by an agency is disclosed on the profile, because undisclosed agency messaging is one of the most common review complaints.
What if someone created a profile impersonating me?
Use the takedown form and select impersonation. Impersonation is handled as a priority and the profile is suspended while it is checked.
