Creators whose pages cost nothing to follow and sell individual posts and messages instead. Compared on how much is actually open on the feed, how large the following is relative to it, and what the bio says is paid.

Top 10 — editorial ranking
Ordered by Our rating out of 10. Value and activity are arithmetic on public numbers — price, library counts and the post series; clarity, responsiveness and consistency are an editor’s reading of the public page. A rating is marked provisional while value or activity is still unmeasured. At equal scores the rating on more criteria comes first, then the larger library. Featured profiles are shown above, not in this table.

What to expect in this category
- A subscription price of zero as observed on the creator’s page on the date shown
- Public photo and video counts that tell you how much of the archive is open before anything is paid
- A bio that says what is sold by message — the paid layer of every free page
What to hold a page in this category to — delivery against promise, not personal preference. The same things our editorial notes are written from.
What you are actually paying for
Nothing, at first — and that is the point. A free page is the cheapest possible test of a creator: you see the posting rhythm, the tone and how much of the archive is genuinely open without paying a cent. The money moves to paid posts and messages, which is where the real price lives. So this hub does not ask whether a page is free; it asks how much the free part is worth. A free page with 5,000 open posts is a different product from a free page with 40 open posts and a large following, even though both cost zero to follow.
How pricing usually works here
Zero to follow, with the business in paid messages, unlocks and tips — prices that are not public and vary by subscriber. The useful public numbers are the open counts: a free page with thousands of photos and hundreds of videos has real substance before you pay; one with a few dozen posts is a promotion point for a paid page, and usually links to it. Many creators run both — a free page as the shop window and a VIP page behind it — and we list them as separate accounts when both are public.
How to judge a free pages account
Look at the open counts first — photos and videos — and then at the likes: a free page with 200 posts and 300,000 likes is popular but thin, and the subscription is a funnel; a free page with 4,000 open posts and 30,000 likes is an archive you can actually browse. Then read the bio for what is paid: customs, video calls, a VIP page. Finally follow it for a week before buying anything; the rhythm of a free page is visible for nothing, and it is the only thing you cannot see on a paid one before paying.
What goes wrong in this category
The ways pages in this category most often fall short of what they advertise — drawn from the public pages we read, not from subscriber reviews, which are not open yet. Worth checking against a profile before you pay, because every one of them is visible in advance.
- A free page where almost every post is a locked preview, so the "free" feed shows nothing without paying.
- A mass-message machine: subscribing free triggers a stream of paid offers, with the actual content only in the offers.
- Counts that look generous but are mostly re-posts of the same sets, so the open archive is smaller than the number.
Questions about free pages
- If it is free, why rate it at all?
- Because the free part varies enormously — from a real open archive to a feed of locked previews. The public counts and the bio tell you which one you are looking at, and the rating uses those, not the price.
- How does the value criterion work for a free page?
- By open library size: a free page with at least 800 open posts scores 2 on value, at least 300 scores 1, fewer scores 0. The thresholds sit at the directory’s tertiles and are published in how we rank creators.
- Do you list a creator’s free page and paid page separately?
- Yes, when both are public accounts. They are different products with different numbers, and the profile notes say which is which.
